    What business schema is

Schema is a few lines of code, in a format called JSON-LD, that state facts about your business in a way machines read without guessing: your name, address, phone, opening hours, and links to your profiles. Google uses it to understand who you are, and AI assistants read the same facts when they decide whom to name.

    Why it helps

People see your name and address on the page. Search engines and AI see text they must interpret. Schema removes the guesswork, which matters most when your business name is common, you have more than one branch, or your address is written loosely. It also keeps your details consistent with your Google Business Profile, which is one of the clearest local signals.

How to add it to your site

    1. 1Fill in the form above with details that match your Google Business Profile exactly.
    2. 2Copy the code.
    3. 3Paste it into your home page (or each branch's page) inside the <head> or anywhere in the body.
    4. 4Test the page with Google's Rich Results Test, then ask for indexing in Search Console.

    Where to paste it:

    • WordPress: your SEO plugin's schema setting, or a "header and footer code" plugin.
    • Wix and Squarespace: the page's custom code or SEO settings.
    • Custom sites: the page template.

    Mistakes to avoid

    • Details that don't match your Google Business Profile, signboard or invoices. Pick one spelling and phone format and use it everywhere.
    • Reviews you wrote yourself. Google ignores self-serving review markup for a business's own page and may act against it. The generator leaves ratings out for that reason.
    • One schema for many branches. Give each branch its own page and its own schema.
    • Hours that aren't kept up to date, especially on holidays.

    Questions people ask

    Which type should I choose?

The most specific one that is true: Dentist rather than MedicalBusiness, Restaurant rather than LocalBusiness. Choose Organization if customers don't visit you at an address.

Will schema get me a star rating or a special result on Google?

Not by itself. Schema helps Google understand your business; Google decides what to show. Star ratings for your own business can't come from your own markup.

Where do I find my latitude and longitude?

In Google Maps, right-click your pin; the first line of the menu is the latitude and longitude. They are optional but help when your address is hard to place.

Does the generator save my details?

No. It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to ParSEO.
